US 41 has been under construction by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for several years.

These improvements included adding medians and traffic separators as part of a safety improvement.

The CRA and City desire to beautify these medians through landscaping and irrigation. On Jan. 24, 2024, the CRA approved a supplemental task authorization, in the amount of $72,000.00, with RVi Planning Landscape Architecture who will provide for a FDOT compliant landscape and irrigation design to be completed for the corridor.

This contract will also include coordination with the Naples Botanical Garden with the plant selection for landscaping.
The City of Fort Myers will provide oversight during construction and installation.
