One key update is the shift from ‘total project cost’ to ‘eligible expenditures’. This change will provide a clearer picture of what expenses qualify for grant coverage, making the application process more transparent and easier to navigate. Whether it’s facade improvements, signage, or landscaping, our revised terms will help applicants understand precisely what the grant covers.
We are also updating our language on outside dining design and development. While we remain committed to supporting businesses in creating attractive, inviting outdoor spaces, we want to clarify that outdoor equipment will not be included as part of the grant. This change ensures our focus remains on the infrastructure of your outdoor dining space, helping you create an area that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Moreover, we’re going digital! The Commercial Property Improvement Grant Application is moving to an online format. This transition means you’ll be able to complete and submit your application from anywhere, at any time. This not only makes the process more convenient for you, but it also allows us to process applications faster, ensuring you receive the support you need promptly.
