We have some exciting news to share with our developer community for the City of Fort Myers. As part of our ongoing commitment to improving service delivery and enhancing our engagement with the developer community, we are thrilled to announce updates to our Tax Increment Rebate Program Application.
The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) has always been dedicated to fostering growth and development in our city and interested partners. The Tax Increment Rebate Program is a testament to that commitment, providing valuable incentives that drive investment and stimulate economic prosperity. However, we know that sometimes, applying for these programs can be a complex process.
To simplify this process and make it more accessible, we have reworked the language of the application to be more user-friendly and intuitive. Our goal is to ensure that you understand the requirements and benefits of the program clearly, making it easier for you to access the resources you need.
But that’s not all! We are also moving our application process online. This shift means you can now apply for the Tax Increment Rebate Program from the comfort of your office and with your team at a time that suits you. Not only does this save you the time and effort of a physical application, but it also speeds up our processing time, allowing us to assist you more quickly and efficiently.
Please note, no changes have been made to the pre-application meeting and should be requested prior to submitting the application by emailing mhylton@cityftmyers.com.
