“As I previously served on the Florida League of Cities Board of Directors, I’m thrilled to serve in this new capacity, representing the state as well as the City of Fort Myers,” said Watkins Brown. “Given my professional experience and tenure on the Fort Myers City Council, I look forward to serving alongside other municipal leaders to exchange best practices, align on strategies, and provide better services to our communities impacting generations to come.”

Watkins Brown is a Fort Myers native. She began her career in Telecommunications in August 1975 with United Telephone company of Florida, which has now evolved to CenturyLink.
